  • January 17, 2022:

Volunteer workday improvement project is ruined by freak snowstorm!

  • February 5, 2022:

Great success! Rescheduled workday improvement project had 35 persons turn out! Got tons of brush moved, got tee pad installed on hole 1, got lots of trash picked up, had local business sponsors, raffles prizes (Nate W. got an ace on hole 1 with his raffle prize disc!). Got lots and lots and lots of happy feelings!

  • February 19, 2022:

Got some 'next hole that way' signs up, got a lot more branches cut down on fairways (especially 11), and got a lot of stumps out of fairways (especially 7 & 9), and virtually slaughtered multiple forest nymphs to clear out sketch woods around 10. Got hole 1's newly designed sign back from designer and ready for first printing

  • February 26, 2022:

Walked out and measured real corners of property with GPS and compass. We have room for full 18-holes! Plotted corners, recorded azimuths, and paced out the other 6 holes. Already got the layout rough draft put on paper for further review.

  • March 12, 2022:

Tire swing hole (possibly new number 8?) is cut in and looks great. Woodsman chair is chainsaw- carved into large stump by old number 8's tee pad for restful contemplation.

  • April 2022:

Formal organization complete. Chartered & officially sanctioned school district club, with bank account, new website, new Facebook page, and official approval to take the next steps.

  • April 23, 2022:

Next pre-workday party to make some more progress on the 'new' holes.
